Ashish Nehra, the former Indian left-arm pacer was seen performing the role of the head coach in the Gujarat Titans (GT), who were playing their inaugural season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. The new franchise went on to win the title in its debut season. GT produced a dominant performance throughout the season including the Finals.

Under the captaincy of Hardik Pandya, GT registered a dominating win over Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan Royals in the marquee encounter to get their hands on the trophy. Yuzvendra Chahal who was part of the Finalists Rajasthan Royals was awarded a purple cap as he was the leading wicket-taker in the season with a tally of 27 wickets in 17 games that he featured in.

Meanwhile, a video of GT coach Ashish Nehra and RR leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has been making rounds on social media. Both were seen engaged in a hilarious conversation after the end of the marquee encounter. Ashish Nehra offered Yuzi Chahal to come on the team bus along with him.

The video of the duo’s conversation was posted on Instagram and has already garnered millions of likes. After his wife Dhanashree entered the car, Chahal is also seen heading in that direction.

Shortly after Chahal reached the car, Nehra is heard telling Chahal, “Abe tu idhar bus mein aa (come with me on the bus)”. Chahal replied, “Bus mein nahi jaana mujhe (I don’t want to travel on the bus).” When the GT coach asked the leggie for the reason, Chahal said, “Biwi ko kaha chor du main (How can I leave my wife alone).” Nehra replied, “Biwi bhi aayegi humare saath bus mein (she will also come with us on the bus).”
