Kuldeep Yadav Tells Why Every Bowler Should Listen To MS Dhoni

The Indian chinaman, Kuldeep Yadav has built a solid partnership with the veteran gloveman MS Dhoni and there have been numerous occasions when the duo has been spotted successfully planning and executing the dismissal of opposition batsmen. There is no doubt about Dhoni’s tips and advice to young bowlers have just bolstered India’s bowling prowess in the last couple of years. Kuldeep has said that Dhoni’s inputs and tips help the bowlers massively during the matches.

Kuldeep further added he never thought he would be playing alongside Dhoni. He further went on to say that sometimes a bowler might not know the minute details about the batsman which Dhoni picks up. Kuldeep even said that it’s a lot of fun while playing alongside Mahi bhai and his inputs are really important for any bowler, be it a pacer, Chahal or himself.

During a recent interview with Sportskeeda, Yadav said, “It is important for any spinner, any bowler for that matter, (to listen to Dhoni) when you have got the best wicketkeeper in the world. He carries a lot of experience, he shares things that are really important for youngsters, for me and Chahal, or for that matter, any fast bowler or spinner.”

He further elaborated, “He just gives inputs, small tips, which really help us during games. It’s a lot of fun playing with him and I feel very lucky because I never thought there would come a time when I would be playing alongside Mahi bhai. He has played such high levels of cricket and done so much for India. (The tips) Sometimes work, sometimes don’t, but the loyalty remains. He knows everything. Sometimes, you might not know small things about the batsmen, but he does.”

Meanwhile, in the ongoing five-match ODI series between India and Australia, Kuldeep continues to impress and has scalped eight wickets in three matches as he also the leading wicket-taker in the series so far. 

India will take on Australia in the fourth ODI as the Men in Blue seek to clinch the series in Mohali on Sunday. Australia won the third ODI by 32 runs and made a roaring comeback into the ODI series after losing the first two matches.
