If Rishabh Pant managed to lead the Delhi Capitals in IPL 2021, then he will become the youngest captain to do so. Since the inception of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2008, Delhi Capitals hasn’t managed to win the title even once. Pant can also become eth first captain of the Delhi-based franchise to win the coveted trophy.

At present, the record is held by Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma as he won the IPL title when he was just 26 years and 26 days old in 2013. Since then, Rohit hasn’t looked back as under his leadership Mumbai has emerged as the most successful team having won the IPL five times in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2020. Rishabh Pant is eligible for breaking this record as a youngster in just 23 years old.
