Jaydev Unadkat is always on the radar for his consistent performance in domestic cricket. The Saurashtra-born pace bowler made his Test debut against South Africa in 2010. He is a left-handed fast bowler who brings a swing and different angles with his left-arm fast bowling. Jaydev Unadkat bowled 26 overs in this only inning he played on this tour of South Africa.

The southpaw pacer failed to pick any wicket for his country and had a really bad performance in his debut game. His wicketless performance didn’t give him a chance in the second Test and Jaydev Unadkat is yet to play his second Test.

#2 R Vinay Kumar

Another pace bowler from Karnataka had played just one Test match for India and never managed to get back. R Vinay Kumar made his Test debut for India against Australia in 2012 at Perth. However, India lost the match by an inning and 37 runs where Vinay Kumar picked just one wicket for his team.

Vinay Kumar bowled 13 overs for India in that Test match against Australia. He also picked the key wicket of Micheal Hussey during his debut Test match at Perth. However, his only Test wicket in his debut match wasn’t enough for him to retain his place in the next Test at Adelaide. Vinay Kumar has also played 31 ODIs and 9 T20Is for India.

The Indian cricket team is always in search of leg spinners across the format. The right arm leg spinner from Uttar Pradesh made his Test debut against Australia in 2014. He played his debut Test match at Adelaide against the Aussies. It was also a debut captaincy Test match for Virat Kohli. Karn Sharma picked four wickets in two innings against Australia.

In the first inning of a Test match, Karn Sharma picked the wickets of two centuries, David Warner and Michael Clarke. In the second inning, Karn also got the crucial wickets of Chris Rogers and David Warner during his spell. Karn Sharma has played 74 first-class matches where he picked 196 wickets during his cricket career.
