#3 BCCI And Defamed Players
Mohammad Amir had banned from international cricket for five years due to the spot-fixing charges in August 2010 when he bowled two deliberate no-balls in a match against England. BCCI has a very strict policy against defamed cricketers. In the past two players who are found to be involved in spot-fixing and match-fixing have never made a comeback to Indian cricket. Since Mohammad Amir has also been involved in spot-fixing, there are very slim chances of him playing in IPL.
#4 Poor Performances
Ever since he has made a comeback to international cricket, Mohammad Amir has not shown impressive performance. In 2019, he played 2 Tests, 15 ODIs, and 7 T20Is, and scalped 8, 23, and 7 wickets respectively. After his comeback, he has played 32 T20I matches for Pakistan in which he picked 36 wickets. In 2020, he remained wicketless in the two T20I matches he played. Therefore, his stats might not tempt the IPL franchises and he will not be able to make it to the final list of IPL 2022 auction.

#5 Mohammed Amir and his Family
Recently, Mohammad Amir stated that he wants to prioritize his family over cricket. He had said that he wants to spend maximum time with his family in the United Kingdom. IPL is a long tournament where cricketers are bound to spend almost 2 months without their families. Therefore, Amir might not participate in IPL 2022 so as to spend time with his family members. He had also said that at the moment he is not thinking about participating in IPL 2022.
