The outbreak of the Corona Virus has halted all the sporting events. The cricketing calendar has suffered because of the same. With everyone stuck indoors, the cricketing fraternity has taken over the internet. Players coaches, pundits, everyone is has been proactive on social media to interact with their fans. Former India batting coach Sanjay Bangar interacted with Star Sports show Cricket Connected and the lockdown. During the same, Banger emphasized on the importance of trust between a player and his coach.
The 47-year-old also spoke on the need for a mental conditioning coach. He shares how they can help a player “confide his insecurities” without any worries.
Bangar said, “Basically, the coaches tend to double up as mental conditioning coaches primarily for the reason that they spend a lot of time with the players and number two is the trust that a player enjoys with a particular coach.”
