MS Dhoni Feels The Game Of Poker Has Similarities With Cricket

Former Indian skipper, MS Dhoni has been known for being one of the most private cricketers around the world and his game reading skills are second to none. He hogged a lot of limelight for more than a decade and has dealt with a lot of pressure situations over the years. While cricket continues to be his first love, MS has often been seen doing some fun and cool stuff off the field.

Be it spending time with family at his serene farmhouse or doing some organic farming or playing video games with his teammates on tours, Dhoni has maintained a fine-work life balance.

One of MS Dhoni’s recent addictions has been mobile games. While he has earned a good reputation as a skillful battle royale video game player, MS also plays poker with keen interest.

While announcement of Dhoni being the brand ambassador of one of India’s popular online poker portals, PokerStars India, He said, “When I played online poker a few years ago with my friends for fun, I didn’t think I would walk away taking a keen interest in it. However, after playing online poker I understood that it’s a game that requires skill, patience, focus, and an appreciation for responsible play.”
