Talking about his career, the Indian wicket-keeper batsman, KL Rahul said that he has a determination of putting forward the best version of himself. Talking about how he deals with success and failures, Rahul said that he is always physically and mentally determined to do is his job. After a short exile from Team India, Rahul made a much more determined comeback. He has grown in stature as a top player in the Indian cricket team.
Recalling the time when suffered a small blip in his career arose in January 2019, KL Rahul decided to focus his energy on training, perfecting his technique, and relying on the will that made him a winner.

As per the quotes in NDTV, Rahul explained, “I called up his old friends, went to a secluded ground, and batted for hours and hours to perfect his batting technique. My friend David Mathias (who I have played with for a long time in Karnataka’s domestic set-up) watched my net sessions, recorded videos, and advised me on how I can improve my technique. I compared the recent videos with those of my performances in 2017-18 to spot the differences between then and now.”
The Red Bull Athlete also focused on his physicality, as he dedicates enough amount of time to work on his body and get himself fit for top-level cricket. He reminded himself that although every training session was strenuous, “pain is a luxury” he could enjoy as a successful cricketer.
KL Rahul had amassed his maiden Test century in his second Test match in 2014, became the first Indian cricketer to score a century on his ODI debut in 2016, and capped it off with his first T20I century later that year. With his T20I century, he had also entered his name in the list of the few batsmen to score centuries in all three formats of the game has done so in just 20 innings.

Rahul will lead Kings XI Punjab in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) scheduled to be commencing on September 19. Punjab will take on Delhi Capitals in their first match of the tournament on September 20.
