When it comes to football, it’s difficult to keep former Indian skipper MS Dhoni away from it. In a video posted by New Zealand opener Martin Guptill, he is seen playing Footvolley with Dhoni, Manish Pandey, and Tom Bruce.

It was a video from the rain-affected third T20I between India and New Zealand on Tuesday in Thiruvananthapuram. Taking to Instagram, Guptill posted a video which read: “What do you do in a rain delay? Play soccer volleyball with @tombruce42 @mahi7781 and @manishpandeyinsta !”

The Indian bowlers took the hosts over the line in a rain-curtailed decider as New Zealand lost by 6 runs and handed over the T20I series to India by 2-1.

The Kiwis needed 68 runs to win the match in 8 overs but Indian bowlers Bhuvneshwar Kumar (1/18), Jasprit Bumrah (2/9) and Yuzvendra Chahal (0/8) restricted the visitors to 61.

It was a well-fought series which India’s favor, but one can’t say that the Blackcaps were nowhere close to India as they gave tough competition in each match of both ODI and T20I series.
