The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) leg-spinner, Yuzvendra Chahal has been growing from improving from strength to strength in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020. He has always been RCB’s go-to man for taking wickets in the ongoing competition. He is one of the reasons behind the Bangalore-based outfit‘s stunning campaign so far as they have won 7 out of ten games, and are set to reach the playoffs for the first time since 2016.
Chahal started the campaign with a 3-wicket haul against Sunrisers Hyderabad and has been consistently taking wickets ever since. Not only has he been among the wickets but has also been extremely economical so far. In ten games so far, Chahak has scalped 15 wickets at an impressive average of 18.33 while his economy rate is just 6.97.

RCB would be hoping that their spin-spearhead continue his form throughout the tournament in the same sort of form and help them end their long wait for the first-ever IPL title. His stay in UAE has become even more special with the arrival of his fiancée Dhanashree Verma. She was recently seen cheering for the bowler when RCB thrashed the Kolkata Knight Riders earlier this week.
Dhanashree had not accompanied Chahal to the UAE at the start of the IPL and recently joined him in the gulf country. And on Friday, RCB shared an adorable video showing how she pleasantly surprised the leg-spinner. In the video titled ‘Reason behind Yuzi’s happiness’, she said that while Chahal wasn’t aware of her arrival and he wasn’t sure that she was going to meet him before the match against KKR.

Dhanashree was supposed to meet the bowler after the match but she decided to surprise him by meeting him before the start of the game. Posting the picture on Twitter, RCB wrote: “Bold Diaries: Yuzi’s biggest reason to smile. The happier @yuzi_chahal is off the field, the more lethal he is on the field. And there’s a new reason behind his happiness of late, and that’s Dhanashree Verma.”
