Indian veteran all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has shared a video on his Instagram account of a strange dismissal.
This must have been one of its kind decisions by the umpire as the batsman clearly left the ball. However, no one from the bowling side appealed but the umpire straight away raised his finger and batsman walked back to the pavilion.
While sharing this video, Yuvi wrote “This is one of the strangest dismissals you’ll ever see. The batsman clearly doesn’t edge it and no one in the opposition appeals. But the umpire raises his finger!”

Meanwhile, Indian stats man Mohandas Menon cleared all the doubts over this bizarre dismissal in one of his tweet. He said “For all those asking…This match was played for charity in 2007. The rules for this match was that if a batsman leaves two balls, which are playable, without playing a shot in the same over, the umpire can declare you out. And that’s what happened in this case!”

Yuvraj Singh is discarded from the Indian team due to his poor fitness. He was failed to pass the Yo-Yo test, which has been a benchmark for selection in the Indian squad.
