Mohammad Hafeez, the Pakistan all-rounder, has been suspended from bowling in International cricket by ICC with immediate effects as they found his bowling action illegal. Hafeez was reported for a suspected bowling action after 3rd Pakistan-Sri Lanka ODI in UAE last month.
“The assessment revealed that the majority of his deliveries exceeded the 15 degrees level of tolerance permitted under the regulations,” the International Cricket Council said in their statement, released on Thursday.
The 37-year-old remolded his bowling action after receiving a 12-month ban from bowling in International cricket in July, 2015. However, he changed his action and got a clean chit from ICC.
