The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper, Virat Kohli was happy with the way the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 player auction went for the Bangalore-based franchise, on Thursday. RCB spent big money as they managed to buy the services of Kyle Jamieson and Glenn Maxwell for ₹15 crores and ₹14.25 crores respectively. RCB also roped in another overseas player by signing Australian all-rounder Daniel Christian for ₹4.80 crores.
RCB took to Twitter on Saturday where they shared a video in which their skipper Kohli reflected on the auction. RCB reached the play-offs last year but were knocked out by SunRisers Hyderabad in the eliminator. Kohli said that he reckons that the new additions in the RCB camp can help the franchise go a couple of steps further in the upcoming season.
