Back in 2002 in England, during the historical NatWest Series, master-blaster Sachin Tendulkar had played the helicopter shot on a couple of occasions.
Tendulkar, who came in to bat at No. 4 in the eight over had shared a 169-run partnership with Rahul Dravid (82). He went on to score his 32nd ODI hundred, first against England in England, 105* (108), inclusing eight fours and a six.
During the fag end of the innings at Chester-le-Street, after completing his hundred, he hit two helicopter shots in a bid to score quick runs. Watch the full video:
