A lot of cricket fans are enjoying the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). On the other hand, Australia has seen two good teams New South Wales and Queensland locking horns with each other in the Sheffield Shield final. The second day of the match witnessed a hilarious incident involving Nathan Lyon and Marnus Labuschagne during the passage play. The incident was so hilarious that the players forgot about the intensity of the match.

Nobody really expected such a hilarious incident to take place that too in the final of the tournament. But everyone took time to laugh nicely after what had happened between Nathan Lyon and Marnus Labuschagne during the game. The drama unfolded during Queensland’s innings when they had suffered a loss of Joe Burns for 20 runs. Josh Hazlewood dismissed him in the last ball of the 11th over. After his departure, Marnus Labuschagne came out to bat at No.3.

Initially, New South Wales batted first and got bundled out for just 143. Queensland bowlers ran through NSW’s batsman as their skipper, Kurtis Patterson top-scored with 43 off 128 deliveries. On the other hand, Queensland bowler Michael Neser was the pick of the bowlers as he scalped 5 wickets while also he also bowled 6 maidens to his name whereas Jake Wildermuth picked up 4 wickets and bowled 5 maidens.

Queensland is on top of the game against New South Wales. They managed to post 286/3 in 115 overs at the end of Day 2. Nathan Lyon got rid of Bryce Street for 46 whereas Mitchell Starc got the prized wicket of Queensland captain Usman Khawaja (23).

Meanwhile, Marnus Labuschagne has been the star of the day as he scored an imperious 160 off 284 balls. The right-handed Test specialist scored as many as 19 boundaries. Labuschagne is unbeaten at the crease alongside Matt Renshaw (29).
