Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan Royals didn’t get off to a good start in the IPL 2021. The team is currently placed in the last position in the points table and have only a single victory in four games. They are eyeing to bring their campaign back on track with the game against Kolkata Knight Riders on Saturday in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.
An interesting incident occurred during the toss between these two teams. RR skipper Sanju Samson won the toss and opted to bowl first. When he was asked about his team combination, he looked confused and forgot the changes. He looked around for help and finally recalled the names.

Rajasthan Royals made two changes coming into this game. Shreyas Gopal and Manan Vohra got replaced by Jayadev Unadkat and Yashasvi Jaiswal for this game. Gopal was brought back into the playing XI for the game against RCB, a side against whom he enjoys bowling. On the other hand, Manan Vohra hasn’t given his side a good start so far in the tournament. Hence, he eventually got dropped at the expense of young Yashasvi Jaiswal.

Meanwhile, KKR themselves are on a three-match losing streak. After winning the opening encounter against Sunrisers Hyderabad, KKR suffered shocking defeats against Mumbai Indians despite bossing the game for a major part of the match. RCB was too hot to handle for KKR while CSK posted a mammoth target for them to chase down, which proved too much.
KKR and RR are reeling at the last positions respectively. Both teams are desperate for a victory to revive their campaign.
