Rajasthan Royals (RR) registered a rather dominating win over Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday. RR followed the win on the field with a dig at social media as well. The Royals shared a social media post taking a dig at KKR with a Shah Rukh Khan pose and a song from one of Shah Rukh’s iconic films.

RR posted on social media a short video where one of their players can be seen recreating a popular Shah Rukh Khan poses with a song from the film Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge playing in the background. Here is the video of the same:

RR dominated the contest with both bat and ball as Chris Morris delivered a brilliant spell of 4 for 33 to restrict KKR to 133 for 9 in 20 overs. The batsmen, under the captaincy of Sanju Samson, didn’t have any difficulty chasing the modest total at Wankhede Stadium as RR won with six wickets in hand and more than an over to spare.

With this win, Rajasthan moved off the bottom of the IPL 2021 points table and they are standing at sixth place with four points from five matches.

On the other hand, KKR has slipped to the bottom of the table with just a couple of points from five games. RR will now have a short break from cricket as they move from Mumbai to Delhi to lock horns with Mumbai Indians (MI) in their next match on Thursday, April 29.
