The Fiery English pacer, Jofra Archer has returned to the field after burning an elbow injury. He bowled an amazing ball in the Second XI of the County Championship while playing for Sussex. Archer amused everyone by delivering a ball with a banana swing. On this delivery, the batsman dodged and became LBW. This swing of Archer was worth watching.

Playing for Sussex, Archer dismissed Surrey middle-order batsman Reefer from his Banana swing. Jofra Archer swings the ball in the air, which the batsman could not understand. The video of this ball delivered by Jofra Archer is going viral on social media. In this match, he was amazing with the bat as well. He played a crucial knock of 35 runs off 46 balls, hitting 3 fours and 2 sixes.

However, Jofra Archer did not bowl in the second innings against Surrey as he didn’t even come to the field. Sussex’s medical staff is concerned about Archer’s fitness. This will also increase the tension for England as they ate scheduled to lock horns with New Zealand for a two-match Test series. 

It has to be noted that, Archer did not play the 14th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) due to an injury to his right hand. Earlier, he did not take part in most of the game in the series between India and England. Archer played the last international match in the T20 series against India. He was not part of the team in the ODI series.

Last month, ECB confirmed that Jofra Archer will be missing the entire season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. Earlier in April, Archer underwent surgery on his middle finger and started his training as well.
