The Pandya brothers, Krunal and Hardik, have been leaving no stone unturned in helping the Indian people in the fight against the second wave of the coronavirus, and continue to do so even now. The star cricketers managed to obtain a fresh batch of oxygen concentrators on Monday.
Krunal and Hardik took to social media where they informed about the new medical equipment that they have procured for the Covid centers. The all-rounder also wished everyone a speedy recovery from the virus. Krunal had tweeted, “This new batch of Oxygen Concentrators are being dispatched to Covid centres with prayers in our hearts for everyones speedy recovery.”

Hardik meanwhile, urged everyone to come together to defeat the ongoing effects of Covid-19 in the country. He tweeted, “We’re in the middle of a tough battle that we can win by working together.”

Krunal and Hardik had earlier donated 200 of these oxygen concentrators when India was fighting a hard battle regarding the acute shortage of the machines amid the deadly second wave of the coronavirus. The brothers had sent the devices to hospitals in rural India.

Hardik had said, “We decided to donate 200 oxygen concentrators to the rural parts of India where I feel the medical infrastructure needs more support. We all understand it’s difficult, we want to show our gratitude, support and just want to tell everyone that they’re always there in our prayers.”

The medical infrastructure in India has been stretched to its limits as India continued to register more than 4,000 Covid-19 deaths and the total death toll crossed 3 lakh on Monday, according to the Union Health Ministry. In the last 24 hours, India reported 2,22,315 new Covid-19 cases — a dip from 2,40,842 cases reported on Sunday, and 4,454 deaths.
