England all-rounder Tim Bresnan has recently named his all-time Cricketing XI where no Indian player could manage to get a place.

In a recent video shared by the official page of the Lord’s Cricket Ground back in 2019, Tim Bresnan picked his players which started with the great Alastair Cook, as the opener. The England player was one of the best in Test cricket. Considered as one of the best in the business, Cook’s contribution to England cricket is unparallel too. He is England’s all-time leading run-getter as well.

The second batsman he chose was Adam Lyth. While he referred to him as the most naturally-gifted player, the 30-year-old Lyth has played just seven Tests for England since his international debut way back in May 2015. After that, he named Joe Root, who is currently leading England in the Test and also one of the best in the world with the bat as well.

Later, Tim Bresnan named an Australian legend – Darren Lehmann in his playing XI. The all-rounder was one of the key players of the Australia team as well. However, he chose Gary Ballance as his team’s wicketkeeper and captain as well. And, he called him the best captain as well.

Notably, Tim Bresnan chose himself at six, prior to the other bowlers. It is also noteworthy that, the list of bowlers included Adil Rashid, Stuart Broad, Mitchell Johnson, Steve Harmison and James Anderson. While he picked up three speedsters from England, only one Aussie pacer could manage a berth in the playing XI as well.

Notably, both Anderson and Broad are still playing international cricket as well. On the other hand, Mitchell Johnson was one of the best Australian pace bowlers in his times too.
