New Zealand national cricket team had managed to execute their plans pretty well in the first test of the two-match series against England at the iconic Lord’s. Rightly so, they gave England some hard time in their own backyard. Kiwis approached the game with a better game plan and their performance was there for everyone to see.
Devon Conway etched his name in the record books for scoring a double century on his Test debut and his brilliant knock as many as 22 fours and a six. Henry Nicholls also made a brilliant contribution of 61 in the first innings. Kiwis posted 378 in the first innings. Ollie Robinson also scalped 4 wickets on his Test debut as well. His teammates Mark Wood took 3 wickets while James Anderson settled for two wickets. Shockingly, Stuart Broad went wicketless in the first innings.

In reply, England eventually got bowled out for 275 in the first innings. Rory Burns top-scored with 132 including 16 fours and a six. Tim Southee was the pick of the bowlers for the visitors. He bowled a brilliant spell of 6/43 in his quota of 25.1 overs. In reply, the visitors posted 169/6 and then declared the innings.
Tom Latham was teh highest run-getter for the Kiwis with teh score of 36 while experienced cricketer Ross Taylor chipped in with 33. The visitors set up a target of 273 for the hosts. Cricket is a game of mixed feelings and emotions. It’s the crowd that makes even the boring match entertaining by contributing to cheers, whistles, and noises.

During the second innings of New Zealand, a man in the stands took everyone by surprise. Apparently, the man was finding it difficult to wear a raincoat since it was drizzling quite a bit. However, as it turned out, the man was wearing it the other way around. Meanwhile, the cameraman quickly spotted the hilarious fan and Kept on zooming in on the person. Eventually, the man realized that he was wearing it wrongly.
