Later on, Chedean Nation fainted soon after and the game got halted again.

“Chinelle Henry and Chedean Nation were taken to hospital for medical attention. Both Henry and Nation are conscious and stable at the hospital and are being assessed,” CWI is quoted as saying by ESPNCricinfo.

However, the match then resumed and West Indies won the game by seven runs to seal the three-game series with one game still to be played.

“It isn’t very easy in those conditions and situations. I’m just happy that the team was able to go over the line for those two ladies who weren’t with us, and we’re just waiting on all the information that we can get. They have our full support and we’ll be riding with them as well,” said West Indies head coach Courtney Walsh.

Recently, during the Euro 2020 match between Denmark and Finland, star Danish footballer Christian Eriksen got collapsed during the game and left the pitch on a stretcher. It was found later on that he received a cardiac arrest during the game but he survived it and is recovering well.

Pakistan women are currently on the tour of the West Indies, where they will be playing three T20Is before heading into a five-match ODI series.
