Bat-wielding Thugs Attacked players During A Charity Match In Kent

A shocking incident transpired during the charity cricket match in Kent when bat-wielding thugs started attacking players. The fight happened in the last couple of overs in the match at Mote Park Cricket Club in Maidstone on Sunday and the whole incident was captured on a camera as well. The video clip shows a group of players having an argument before a bad-wielding guy (shirtless) charged at them out of nowhere.

It all happened during a game in a tournament that is aiming to raise money for people in the need of the hour under the cause “Share for Care”. As per the reports of KentOnline, it helps people who are in need of medical treatment in Pakistan. In the video, it can also be seen that more players were fighting amongst themselves. Things turned into an absolute mess as soon as a fight broke out.

The camera shows that one person is on the floor, as more men start waving their willows. Meanwhile, police and paramedics were called to the spot and Shehzad Akram, who helped to organize the event, told the publication: “We tried our best for charity and these lunatics just spoiled it.’

The event organizer further added that during the last couple of overs, things went from bad to worse. He said, “I don’t know what the main reason was behind it, but there were some troublemakers in the ground. They started fighting with their bats and hitting people.”

He also said, “We are not happy – we don’t tolerate this behavior.” On the other hand, the club took to their social media account to share a statement. “The Mote CC would like to distance ourselves from any events that took place at our club yesterday. We do not oversee and are not responsible for the behavior of any of those who commercially rent our ground. We do not condone these events and are saddened and disappointed in the organisers and those involved with the incident.”
