Team India is currently facing England in the second Test of the 5-match series at Lord’s. Earlier, the first Test between the two teams ended in a draw. England Test skipper Joe Root won the toss and elected to bowl first citing the cloudy conditions. The visitors got off to a very good start in the form of the Indian openers, Rohit Sharma and Lokesh Rahul.
The opening pair went on to add as many as 126 runs before the veteran English pacer, James Anderson getting the wicket of Rohit Sharma in the second session. The 34-year-old stalwart was looking good to score his maiden century in Test cricket in the overseas conditions. Nonetheless, James Anderson bowled an absolute gem of a delivery to get the wickets of Rohit and the latter was bowled.

Rohit Sharma constructed the innings with the help of 11 boundaries and a solitary six which came with his infamous pull shot. India’s opening batsman KL Rahul won the hearts of the cricket fans with a classy gesture during the second Test. When the rain stopped play during the 18.4 overs, the Indian openers and the English team were headed back to the dressing room.

At that time, Team India scored 46/0. Just as when the Indian openers, reached the boundary rope, KL Rahul stopped and decided to let his partner Rohit go first. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma pushed KL Rahul to go first. The video of the same has been doing the rounds on social media.
