The Hundred has become a success so far where a comical-yet-impressive scene was seen recently. While Liam Livingstone has hit a maximum, a fan was seen trying to catch it which left the on-air commentators in a laugh as well. However, in an attempt to catch the ball, the spectator has tripped over the seats after completing the catch.
Notably, the incident took place in the 31st match of the tournament between Northern Superchargers and Birmingham Phoenix in Leeds where Birmingham posted a target of 144 on the back of Superchargers’ opener Tom Kohler-Cadmore’s effort as well.
However, in the run-chase, captain Liam Livingstone hit a brilliant six which was caught by the fan when he was tripped over the seats and fell down as well. And, after the catch, he was standing up and seeing the applause. He was even doing a dance move but his phone popped out as well. But, later, he held on to that, returned to his seat, and drank an entire drink at one go. And, it was all seen on the big screen and the man threw out a flying kiss as well.

On the other hand, Birmingham Phoenix captain, Liam Livingstone, smashed a great knock which the Northern Superchargers failed to replicate in their performance. After being put in to bat first, Superchargers posted 143 on the board on the back of a 44-ball 71 from Kohler-Cadmore. The pressure was on Birmingham as they had a miserable start. Meanwhile, they lost Will Smeed in the very first over that too for a first-ball duck to David Willey as well.
However, it was Livingstone, who has been going through a sublime form, who smashed 10 sixes in his 40-ball 92, which helped his side to win by eight wickets, with as many as 26 balls in hand. Meanwhile, with this win, Birmingham reached the finals, and they will face the winner of the Eliminator between Southern Brave and Trent Rockets in the final as well.
