Mohammed Siraj Gives A Fitting Reply To The English Fans After Being Mocked

The Indian fast bowler, Mohammed Siraj was the pick of the bowler for the Indian team during the second Test of the ongoing 5-match series against England at Lord’s. During the second Test, he was often been seen engaging in banters with the opposition and his gestures looked intimidating most of the time. However, it didn’t stop him from taking four wickets each in both the innings of the Lord’s Test.

Team India defeated England by a huge margin of 151 runs and took the 1-0 lead in the Test series. As far as the third Test match is concerned, the Indian skipper, Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat first at Headingley in Leeds. Indian batsmen never really looked comfortable while facing the English seamers against the England seamers as the visitors lost wickets at regular intervals and eventually got bundled it for 78 in the first innings.

James Anderson was the pick of the bowlers for the hosts as he scalped the first three wickets while his teammate Craig Overton also took three wickets to his name. Ollie Robinson and Sam Curran took two wickets each. On the other hand, Indian bowlers looked completely off-color and they didn’t manage to take a single wicket on Day 1 with England standing tall at 120/0.

Rory Burns and his new opening partner, Haseeb Hameed played cautiously with the latter playing a brilliant knock of 60 with the help of 11 boundaries. Burns also complimented him very well as he amassed 52 with the help of 5 fours and a six. The opening duo braved against all odds and put on a 120-run partnership.

During England’s batting on Day 1 at Leeds,  Mohammed Siraj was caught on camera gesturing “1-0” to the English crowd. Siraj’s gesture comes after the vibrant English crowd trolled the 26-year-old pacer. After being mocked, Siraj instantly gestured “1-0” and silenced the crowd.
