On the eve of the first ODI between India and Sri Lanka, the biggest news that is making rounds at the moment is of the wedding of Indian skipper Virat Kohli, and the love of his life, Bollywood damsel Anushka Sharma, which is expected to be held on 12 December in Milan, Italy.

According to the recent reports, it has been understood that the celebrity couple is all set to get hitched, but privately. Now, it has been revealed that only two cricketers have received the invitation of the wedding.

The legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar is expected to attend the much-awaited marriage, alongside the Indian cricketer who is a very close friend of Virat, Yuvraj Singh. Talking to MensXP, a source revealed: “Not many people have been invited, as it is a really small function. Just close ones are invited, Virat’s childhood friends and few of our family members.”

“From cricket fraternity, only Sachin and Yuvraj will be seen, if they make it to the wedding. And of course, Virat’s coach Rajkumar Sharma who once taught him. There were others too but they can’t make it for the day,” the source added.

Revealing more about the ceremony, the source said, “Everything was decided almost 3-4 months ago. The priest picked up the December wedding and they wanted to keep it low key. Both the families sat together and laid down the plan of how they want to do it.”

While there are two cricketers are invited from Virat’s sphere, his actor girlfriend has sent out VVIP invitations to her closest friends. Shah Rukh and Aamir Khan, are expected to attend the ceremony, alongside head of Yash Raj Films (YRF), Aditya Chopra, and Maneesh Sharma, the director of the movie ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ that starred Anushka as the female lead.
