As per the reports of Sportskeeda, India’s young wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant will continue to lead the Delhi Capitals in the second phase of the Indian Premier League 2021 season. Pant led the Delhi Capitals team in the first phase of the Indian Premier League 2021 edition after their regular captain Shreyas Iyer suffered an injury during the limited-overs series against England earlier this year and was eventually ruled out of the tournament.
With Shreyas Iyer’s return, there are questions among fans that who will lead the Delhi Capitals team in phase 2 of the IPL 2021 edition which will take place in the UAE next month as well. However, according to Sportskeeda, the Delhi Capitals management are happy to have Shreyas Iyer back in the team but that want to continue with Rishabh Pant as captain for this year’s rest of the IPL matches as well.
