Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has gifted his Test jersey with autographs of current Indian players to former England skipper Michael Vaughan. This jersey is given for a charitable purpose as revealed by Vaughan on his Instagram.
Ravindra Jadeja is currently a part of the Indian touring party that is in England to play the five-match Test series. Earlier, India played in the World Test Championship Final against New Zealand in Southampton, which the Kiwis won to lift their maiden ICC title since 2000.

Jadeja has played in all the Test matches since landing in the UK. However, he hasn’t lived up to the expectations. He played two wicketless Test matches against England in Nottingham and Lord’s before finally getting a breakthrough in the Leeds Test.
However, he was looking good with the bat and scored a fifty in the Nottingham Test but since that knock, his form has dipped.
Meanwhile, he donated his Test jersey to Vaughan, who is expected to raise funds with this for a charitable cause. Vaughan posted the image of the jersey on his Instagram stories, where he said “Cheers @ravindra.jadeja, will make lots of money for a charity”.
However, the cause of the charity is still unknown.
Jadeja hurt his knee during the recently-concluded Headingley Test against England while fielding on day two. He was taken for a scan after the completion of the Test, which he revealed on his Instagram with the caption “not a good place to be at”.

India lost the Leeds Test by an innings and 76 runs after a poor batting display in the morning session of day four. India slipped from 215/2 to 278 all-out. A similar collapse was seen during the first innings of India as well, when James Anderson and co. skittled them for 78.
England gained an early advantage despite losing the toss at Headingley. They ended day one being 120/0 and were moving towards a massive lead. Joe Root’s third hundred of the series helped England to take a 354-run lead, which proved to be enough for India.
