Former Indian cricketers Sourav Ganguly and Virender Sehwag were featured in the recent episode of popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati, hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. Sony TV telecasts the show and recently shared glimpses of the episode featuring Sehwag and Ganguly.
Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan is hosting the show for many years, where several celebrities have visited in the past. In the short promo, Sehwag was showcasing his usual notorious character and pulled Sourav Ganguly’s leg which left Amitabh Bachchan in splits.

Bachchan asked Sehwag about his habit of singing while playing cricket during his days. The Indian opener replied with a famous song ‘Chala Jata Hoon Kisi Ki Dhun Mein” and gestured smashing a ball out of the stadium for a six.
Later on, Amitabh Bachchan asked what would be the song Sehwag would sing when a fielder drops a catch. Sehwag said if the coach is Greg Chappell, he would sing ‘Apni To Jaise Taise Kat Jayegi’ (We will manage somehow) while pointing the finger towards Ganguly he sang ‘Aapka Kya Hoga Janaab-e-Ali’ (But what will you do sir?).

This replied left everyone in splits. Ganguly, who was captain of Team India, had a sore relation with Greg Chappell, then head coach of India, which made public in no time.
Chappell dropped Ganguly from the Indian team in 2006. Interestingly, it was Ganguly who favoured Chappell as the team coach and he was elected over the likes of Dav Whatmore, Mohinder Amarnath, Graham Ford, Desmond Haynes and Tom Moody.

Later in that video, Bachchan next asks Sehwag about a situation when India defeats arch-rivals Pakistan. “Shahenshah movie ka ek bada famous dialogue hai (There is a famous line from Shahenshah),” Sehwag replied, as Bachchan recited it: “Rishte mein toh hum tumhare baap lagte hai (I am your father)…” The cricketer laughed, “Hum toh baap hai hi unke (We really are their fathers).”
Sehwag and Ganguly are the first celebrities to be appearing in the latest season of the KBC. The episode will be on air on 3rd September.
