Rohit Sharma has smashed a stunning century during the fourth Test at The Oval. While it was his first overseas hundred, he has punished all the bowlers, including the pace spearhead James Anderson. His century helped India post a huge total and gave England a massive total to chase down as well.

However, his knock left the opponent bowlers frustrated, including Anderson. And, soon he was seen kicking the turf after Rohit hit him through covers. It happened on the last ball of the 38th over when Anderson had bowled well but despite the lack of his feet movement, Rohit brilliantly hit it past mid-off for a boundary. And, while returning to his bowling mark, James Anderson was seen kicking his landing area on the bowling crease as well.

On the other hand, former Pakistan player Danish Kaneria was not happy with the way India bowled in the final session of the fourth day at The Oval. Notably, they failed to take a wicket and now they have only the final day to dismiss them. He also slammed India’s Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane for his poor show.

While speaking on his YouTube channel, Kaneria said: “Virat Kohli and the bowlers need to sit down and have a really good plan for bowling on Day 5 and take wickets. England have a strong batting unit. India can only win the match if they bowl in the right areas because the wicket is really good for batting now, the ball is coming onto the bat, but they need to contain. This match is the decider of the series.”

However, India used four bowlers to play the final session on Day 4 where Shardul Thakur didn’t come into the attack. Ravindra Jadeja also bowled many overs but failed to provide the breakthrough as well. He also recalled how England have successfully chased a massive total in the past in 2019. Notably, Ben Stokes had scored a century there but this time, he has not been a part of the team as well.
