Mumbai Indians (MI) will be eyeing far from achieving the hat-trick of winning the Indian Premier League (IPL) titles, but the captain Rohit Sharma is leaving no stone unturned in motivating his team to give their best in order to finish as higher in the points table as possible. Having said that, Rohit recently shared a video with his wife Ritika Sajdeh, which made the hearts of netizens melt.
The Mumbai Indians skipper was seen pulling a prank on his wife. In the video, which was shot by Rohit Shamra himself, the batter first showed that he had put toffee in his hand and he went straight to Ritika but with palms closed. His wife thought there was something scary as he asked her to touch his hand and try and see what there is.

Ritika firstly hesitated. Rohit tried to convince her to give him a fist bump. “Do you think I will scare you Ritika? I swear. Just fist bump,” Rohit said from behind the camera. The video ended with Ritika smiling after being pranked successfully by her husband. The couple is currently in the United Arab Emirates, where Rohit is leading the Mumbai Indians.

For the first time in a few years, MI isn’t looking good to reach the playoffs. After playing 12 matches, Mumbai has only won five games so far. Their next game is against Rajasthan Royals, who also have a similar track record going into this game. Kolkata have won six out of their 13 and looks set for the playoffs due to a superior run rate.

After losing their last game against Delhi Capitals, Rohit Sharma said, “We are preparing very well. We are just not able to execute in the middle, a little disappointing. We just look to play the game we are known to; something’s missing in our game. We are not playing to the potential that we are known for. That is something that is missing in the UAE leg. Hopefully, in the next two games, we can come out and play the way we are known for.”
