In the 52nd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will be locking horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on 6th October at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium. RCB has pulled off 8 wins in the 12 games they have played so far, and are currently placed at the third spot on the points table. On the other hand, SRH is witnessing the worst season as they have just 2 of their 12 matches so far, and are standing last on the table currently.
In their last game against Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Sharjah, RCB pulled off a comfortable win by 6 runs. Against RCB’s 164 runs, PBKS only managed to reach 158 runs and lost the match. On the other hand, SRH suffered a 6-wicket loss against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their last game in Dubai. While batting first, SRH managed to put only 115 runs, which was chased down by the KKR team in the last over of the game and the winner will also incense their chances of qualifying for the playoffs.

The two teams have locked horns with each other 18 times in the history of IPL so far, where Royal Challengers Bangalore won 8 matches while Sunrisers Hyderabad has won 10 matches. The last time they played against each other in this season, RCB defeated SRH by 6 runs.

Despite the fact that RCB has qualified for teh IPL 2021 playoffs, RCB will not be taking this game against SRH lightly as they are still in the race for the top two slots position.
