Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)
Fortunately, RCB has not witnessed an injury concern in the tournament so far, however, they would like to replace George Garton with Kyle Jamieson, as the left-arm paceman has been conceding a lot of runs. Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell have fine records against Ashwin in the IPL. Maxwell in particular has played with freedom against Ashwin and has aggregated 91 runs in just 41 balls and has been dismissed only once.
Probable XI: Virat Kohli (c), Devdutt Padikkal, Srikar Bharat (wk), Glenn Maxwell, AB de Villiers, Daniel Christian, Shahbaz Ahmed, Kyle Jamieson/George Garton, Harshal Patel, Yuzvendra Chahal and Mohammed Siraj.
Delhi Capitals (DC)
DC will be expected to go ahead with the same XI that usurped CSK as they continue to keep tabs on Stoinis’ fitness. Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan have found it difficult to adjust to the slow nature of the pitches in the UAE, which led to Shimron Hetmyer becoming DC’s go-to finisher in this year’s IPL. The one game where he couldn’t take his side past the finish line was against RCB in the first leg of the tournament. However, he played a brilliant knock of 25-ball 53 in that match.
Probable XI: Prithvi Shaw, Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant (c,wk), Sam Billings/Ripal Patel, Shimron Hetmyer, Axar Patel, R Ashwin, Kagiso Rabada, Avesh Khan and Anrich Nortje.
