It is great to work with a team of such highly skillful and motivated players. Going forward, I have already applied for the batting coach position and if I get it, there is going to be a lot of work to be done.”

The Indian team’s coaching group is set to undergo an overhaul after the conclusion of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021 as BCCI invited applications for head coach, bowling coach, batting coach, and fielding coach of the senior men’s team earlier this month.

Notably, last month, Rahul Dravid applied for the role of India men’s cricket team head coach on the deadline day for submitting applications for the top job in Indian team management.
