T20 WC: Watch: Ravindra Jadeja Rattles Scotland With Two Wickets In An Over

India and Scotland are playing in a Super 12 round match of the T20 World Cup 2021 in Dubai. India registered their first win of the tournament against Afghanistan in their previous game while Scotland are yet to win a game in Super 12 round.

Virat Kohli finally won a toss and elected to bowl first. India brought Varun Chakaravarthy in place of Shardul Thakur while Scotland named an unchanged playing XI.

India got off to a good start with the ball as Jasprit Bumrah dismissed Scottish skipper Kyle Coetzer for 1. Mohammad Shami, then, removed dangerous-looking George Munsey for 24. Scotland were 27/2 after the powerplay.

Virat Kohli tossed the ball to Ravindra Jadeja for the seventh over. The Indian all-rounder changed the game by taking two wickets in the same over. Jadeja first clean bowled Richie Barrington for a duck before trapping Matthew Cross in front of the wickets.

Jadeja conceded just two runs in this over and took two wickets. Scotland were reeling at 29/4 at the end of seven overs.

India need to win this game by a huge margin in order to keep their hopes for the semi-final alive. India’s hopes lie on Afghanistan vs New Zealand game as well, where they want Afghanistan to win the game.
