Perfect inswinger by Maitlan Brown leaves Sydney sixers shocked

Woman big Bash League (WBBL) has been going on with thrill and excitement. The seventh season of WBBL has seen a record number of Indian players, including Smriti Mandhana, Shafali Verma and a few. While we have seen a lot of stunning performances so far, Maitlan Brown stole the show with a brilliant delivery.

It happened during a game between Sydney Sixers and Brisbane Heat where Sixers were all-out within a below-par score and Heat had to chase 91 runs in 20 overs which is the easily reachable target. But Brown had some other plan as Brisbane Heat lost 4 wickets on their 37 runs. And, Maitlan Brown’s delivery was one of the eye-catching among all. It was a perfect inswinger from her which shocked Bosch as she got out and Heat lost their second wicket.

As far as the game is concerned, Indian spinner Poonam Yadav put a full stop to the Sydney Sixers’ batting as she took two wickets. Jess Jonassen also claimed three wickets which saw the batting collapse of Sydney Sixers. They posted 91 runs on the loss of seven wickets. Nicole Bolton and Radha Yadav scored 25 and 17 runs respectively as well.

Although Brisbane heat struggled while chasing as Sixers’ did exceptionally well with the ball, but Heat slowly reached the target and won the match by three wickets. Meanwhile, both Melbourne and Brisbane top the table by 7 wins so far in the tournament. Sydney Thunder, however, stays at the bottom of the table as they have won only 2 out of 10 matches. Melbourne Stars, Adelaide and Sydney Sixers are fighting to seal the knockout spots as well as they are more or less in the same position at the table.
