Young leg-spinner Rahul Chahar has come in the news for his recent reaction on the field on Thursday. He had an altercation with the umpire while playing for India A against South Africa A. Notably, he is a part of the India A side that played against South Africa A in a 4-day game at Mangaung Oval, Bloemfontein as well.
On the last delivery of the 128th over of South Africa A’s innings, Rahul Chahar, who was bowling from round the wicket, hit the batsman Sinethemba Qeshile on the pads and appealed for a huge LBW as well. But the umpire turned down the appeal and also suggested that the ball had pitched outside leg also.

Rahul Clearly was clearly not happy with the decision and the spinner threw his sunglasses on the ground in anger. However, the umpire walked towards Rahul Chahar to talk to him when he was seen arguing vociferously with him as well.
Rahul Chahar might get pulled up here, showing absolute dissent to the umpires call.

However, Rahul Chahar didn’t have a good show with the ball as he had bowled a total of 28.3 overs where he had given away 125 runs for a solitary wicket as South Africa A managed to post a huge score of 509 for 7. Meanwhile, Navdeep Saini and Arzan Nagwaswalla have claimed two wickets each, while India’s new pace bowler Umran Malik has scalped one too. Krishnappa Gowtham bowled 30 wicketless overs as well.

Howveer, Team India replied back strongly on Day 3 of the game with Abhimanyu Easwaran scoring a hundred whereas Priyank Panchal made 96 after the swashbuckling opener Prithvi Shaw has scored a quickfire 48 runs from 45 balls as well.
Meanwhile, both Easwaran and Panchal have scored 142 runs for the second wicket. They had started batting together in the 14th over and were together till the 59th as well. However, veteran Hanuma Vihari got out for 25. And, India A has ended the day with 308 for 4 on the board and still trail by 201 runs as well.
