Team India has reached South Africa for a thrilling tour comprising of three Tests and as many T20Is. The Cricket South Africa body also went on to provide concession in terms of quarantine for India and its coaching staff. Accoridng to the recent turn of events, the Indian Test captain, Virat Kohli, and the BCCI seem to be at loggerheads ever since Virat has been sacked from the ODI captaincy last week.
Nothing seems to be right between the board and Virat Kohli especially after the appointment of Rohit Sharma as the ODI captain. However, legendary Indian cricketer, Kapil Dev is not happy with the recent verbal clashes, especially between Kohli and BCCI president Sourav Ganguly. There is no need to understand rocket science to figure out that the BCCI and test captain Virat Kohli is split into two different camps.

Recently, Virat did a press conference before leaving for the rainbow nation and a lot of his comments were contradicting to what the BCCI had informed or Sourav Ganguly had stated. This might not be an ideal situation for Indian cricket and its future.
Talking about the issue, Kapil Dev had said, “It is not good to point fingers on anybody at this point in time. The South Africa tour is coming and please pay attention to the tour. I would say Board president is Board president but yes the Indian cricket team captain is also a big thing.”
