Former head coach of the Indian team, Ravi Shastri finally reacted to the controversy going on regarding the sacking of Virat Kohli and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). He has opened that the situation could have been handled in a better way than the turns of events that transpired earlier this month.
Virat Kohli, who decided to reign as the T20I skipper after the 20-over World Cup last month, was sacked from the ODI captaincy as well by the national selectors. However, before leaving for South Africa, he made some startling revelations in a press conference before departing for South Africa.
BCCI president Sourav Ganguly also got the part of the controversy when he said that he had personally asked Kohli not to quit as T20I captain. But Kohli contradicted Dada’s statement by saying that no such conversation took place between him and the board.

During a recent chat with the Indian Express, Ravi Shastri said, “Virat has given his side of the story, it needs the board president to give his side of the story. With good communication, the situation could have been handled better.”
