Former Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Kanishk Seth has recently revealed his struggles in his cricketing career. He also stated that his career has become different from the earlier one. Notably, he was signed by the Chennai Super Kings team in the IPL 2018 Mega Auction.
However, despite being in the team with MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Harbhajan Singh, Shane Watson, Faf du Plessis, Deepak Chahar, Shardul Thakur and Imran Tahir, his luck wasn’t that good. And, now he has to play tennis cricket and local matches to earn money as well.

When he was asked if he would participate in IPL 2022, Kanishk Seth replied in a chat with swagcricket.com: “Well as I said I have not been registered for this season so no questions about getting into the IPL this year. I will be playing local games and tennis cricket here in Bengal to earn something! That’s what politics does to deserving cricketers.”
Meanwhile, the youngster, Kanishk Seth did not get a chance to play in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and the Vijay Hazare Trophy as well. And, he has been playing for Krishnanagar Challengers in the Bengal T20 tournament where he returned with four wickets for his side as well.

Notably, in one of the matches, he claimed the wicket of Abhimanyu Easwaran, who is one of the top batsmen of Bengal and one of the future stars of the country right now as well. With this, it seems Kanishk Seth will have to wait a little more before coming in to the radar of the selectors again. The left-arm pace bowler has also shared that he learned a lot about variations and field placements from the veteran players like Dwayne Bravo and Shane Watson during his stint at Chennai Super Kings. Both Bravo and Watson are familiar names in world cricket as well.
