The five-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians (MI) had to stop their practice session after a swarm of bees entered the ground on April 20 (Wednesday). Notably, Mumbai will take on the defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their next group stage game of IPL 2022. The match will be played at the DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai on April 21 (Thursday).
However, they have lost all six previous matches and are placed at the bottom of the points table. They have lost their matches against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Punjab Kings (PBKS), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Rajasthan Royals (RR), and Delhi Capitals (DC).

Meanwhile, in an 18-second video shared by Mumbai Indians’ on their official Twitter handle on Wednesday, can be seen that all the players are lying on the ground as a big swarm of bees hovers over them as well.
To bee or not to bee in training was a question yesterday! 😅🐝#OneFamily #DilKholKe #MumbaiIndians MI TV pic.twitter.com/qaTaHjjca6

As far as the match is concerned, Mumbai will have to do an uphill task against the defending champions. Meanwhile, CSK too has not been able to do well in the tournament, despite the likes of Ruturaj Gaikwad, Robin Uthappa, and Shivam Dube have been doing well. For Mumbai, the only positive is Suryakumar Yadav’s form. Suryakumar has scored 200 runs in four innings at a strike rate of 153.85. Meanwhile, Tilak Varma has amassed 183 runs in six innings at a strike rate of 147.6 as well. It will be interesting to see whether Mumbai Indians could manage to open their account or if CSK will have the last laugh.
