Former India player turned coach of Bengal Ranji team Arun Lal has recently got married to his long-time girlfriend Bulbul Saha. However, this is his second marriage and Arun Lal, 66, tied the knot with the 38-year-old with the consent of his first wife Reena as well.

While, many questioned on social media as the former cricketer married Bulbul, who is 28 years younger than him, the Bengal coach. He got married in a private ceremony where along with some selected guests, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) chief Sourav Ganguly was also present as well.

Arun Lal also interacted with the media after marrying Bulbul Saha and he answered a few questions there as well. “I am very happy. This is another special moment in my life. I love Bulbul a lot and we will be a happy couple all our lives,” Arun Lal was quoted as saying by Zee News.

However, when the veteran cricketer was also asked about his honeymoon plans, too which he gave a funny answer. Answering the question, he revealed, “Ranji Trophy is our honeymoon.”

Meanwhile, Bengal has qualified for the Ranji Trophy knockouts and they will play against Jharkhand in the quarterfinals of the tournament. The quarterfinal will be played from June 4 to 8 at the M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru and it seems like Bulbul will be with the coach as he joins the Bengal squad soon as well.

However, Arun Lal parted ways with his first wife Reena with mutual consent but he decided to live with his first wife despite being divorced, as she is battling a medical condition currently. According to a News 18 Bengali report, Arun Lal has been taking care of his first wife and he has also asked before tieing the knot with his current partner Bulbul as well.
