The final of the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 will be having a reserve day if there is a rain interruption. A brief note from IPL also started that there will be a Super Over for every Playoff match as well if two teams finish any game as a tie at the end of a combined 40 overs.
The teams will also be locking horns with each other in a Super Over to decide the result if any of the playoff matches of IPL 2022 is disrupted by the weather and no play is possible in the stipulated amount of time. Also, the league standings will be used to identify the winners if the ground conditions continue to remain unplayable even for a super over. Notably, there is a reserve day for the final. The recent developments have been confirmed by a brief note released by IPL.
