Earlier, after winning the toss, the visiting skipper, Kane Williamson won the toss and decided to bat first because of the unpredictability of the weather. New Zealand made a couple of changes, as Williamson and Neil Wagner replaced Kyle Jamieson and Matt Henry. However, England had a forced change as Jamies Overton made his debut to replace James Anderson.

The ball was going straight and Leach has no idea what just went off, but he’s getting mobbed by his teammates, as they celebrate a bizarre dismissal on the final ball before tea. Even before the dismissal, Henry Nicholls was struggling but he would never have guessed what would happen from his 99th ball faced.
