Both Murali Vijay and Dinesh Karthik are two stalwarts of the Indian cricket team. While the former was a regular name in Test matches, Karthik has recently returned to the team in the T20 format. However, Vijay has recently made headlines in the ongoing Tamil Nadu Premier League with a stunning century for his team Ruby Tricky Warriors.

But, fans made things a little weird for Murali Vijay as they chant Dinesh Karthik’s name in front of him. This has happened as both the cricketers have a past. Murali Vijay and Dinesh Karthik share a history in their personal life where Karthik’s first wife had an affair with Murali Vijay and later Karthik and his first wife parted ways. While Karthik’s wife married Murali Vijay, Karthik later married to national squash player Dipika Pallikal.

And, with fans’ behaviour in TNPL, Vijay looked really uncomfortable. While it was an embarrassing moment for Murali Vijay, the video of Vijay pleading to the fans to stop chanting the name of Dinesh Karthik has gone viral in no time too as well. However, he has been doing well individually in the tournament so far. And, as far as the tournament is concerned, Nella Royal Kings are placed at the top of the points table and will play the first qualifier against Chepauk Super Gillies, who is at second on the points table. The league will end on 31st July with the final taking place in Coimbatore.
