Hyderabad skipper Ambati Rayudu has submitted his reply to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) regarding his argument with umpire post a close fought T20 match against Karnataka in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on January 11.
In that match, Karnataka’s score received two additions runs as Hyderabad’s fielder was outside the playing area before coming in contact with the ball. Those two runs were updated during the innings’ break and it fueled Rayudu badly, who seemed to be protested after the match. The irony is that Hyderabad lost the match by the same margin of 2-run.

However, BCCI was very unhappy with Rayudu’s unprofessionalism after the conclusion of the match and issued a notice to him and his team manager Krishan Rao as per BCCI’s Codes and Guidelines Article 4 Notification Procedure and given seven days as the deadline for a reply.
The Hyderabad-born cricketer has submitted his reply a day later to the deadline to the board while manager Rao is yet to react to this notice.
After the conclusion of that game, Rayudu cleared that his team was not protesting. They were only demanding to play a super-over against Karnataka, but umpires remained unmoved over their decision.
