After playing their final group fixture in Melbourne, the Indian contingent landed in Adelaide for their semi-final meeting with England at the World Cup. With the Indian team traveling back and forth in Australia, the think tank wanted fast bowlers to have a comfortable journey throughout their World Cup campaign.
After arriving in Adelaide, as per the reports in the Indian Express, one of the support staff members said, “Before the tournament, we decided that since the pace bowlers clock the maximum mileage on the field day in, day out, they need to stretch their legs.”
As per the International Cricket Council (ICC) standards, teams have four business-class seats which are usually allotted to the coach, captain, vice-captain, and manager.
