India defeat Pakistan to win the Blind World Cup

Team India is going through a tough time in South Africa, but there are other Indian teams, who are performing very well for their nation. From India U-19 to Blind Indian cricket team are doing well in their respective tournaments as junior cricketers reached to the quarter-final while blind cricketers won the World Cup in a close-fought encounter against Pakistan at Sharjah Cricket Stadium in UAE.

Indian won the final game against Pakistan by 2 wickets and chased a mammoth total of 309 inside 39 overs. Pakistan elected to bat first after winning the toss and scored 308/8 in allotted 40 overs, where Badar Munir was the highest scorer with 57.

India’s Sunil Ramesh scored 93 in the thrilling run-chase while Ajay Reddy got 62 runs with the bat. With the help of these efforts, India retained their World Cup again after defeating their arch-rivals Pakistan.

India reached the final of the tournament after defeating Bangladesh by seven wickets, while Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by 156 runs to book a place in the final. India had already beaten their arch-rivals Pakistan by seven wickets in their group match earlier in the tournament.
