Former Indian skipper, Virat Kohli seems to be in a pretty good frame of mind ahead of India’s upcoming tour of Bangladesh. He has been given a well-deserved rest after the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia as he is not part of the ongoing limited-overs series against New Zealand. However, the break has not stopped the Indian stalwart from carrying out his daily routine as he was seen sweating it out in the gym to keep himself fit for the upcoming series and a hectic cricketing schedule ahead.
In a video shared by the batting megastar on his official Instagram account, Virat Kohli was seen in an intense workout session where he could be seen running on the treadmill and doing a lateral pulldown.

What stood out in the video was that Kohli’s lateral pulldown session has a striking resemblance to popular Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone’s intense workout session in the Rocky series. The background music of this video ‘Saga Rocky’ makes the gym session even more inspirational.

Incidentally, one of the fans came up with a remark, saying Kohli has proved the notion of needing meat to have a toned physique and muscles wrong. The former India captain responded to the fan’s comment. “And then they say you can’t be muscular if you don’t eat meat,” the fan wrote. “hahaha the biggest myth in the world,” Kohli wrote.
Virat Kohli, who was not in his best form for a while, has rediscovered his mojo in the last couple of months. He finished as the second-highest run-scorer in Asia Cup 2022 as he amassed 276 runs from five innings, including a century against Afghanistan. The ton happened to be his 71st in international cricket and first-ever in T20Is.

Then, the batting icon finished as the highest run-scorer of the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia, as he scored 296 runs from six matches including four half-centuries. He would be hoping to get past Australia’s two-time World Cup winner Ricky Ponting’s tally in the upcoming Bangladesh series by registering his 72nd international 100.
India will be visiting Bangladesh for three ODI and two Tests between December 4 to December 26.
